After watching this video I bought this game...

I saw the screenshots on the App Store and was wondering if it was just something that was going to be a pretty game with garbage for gameplay. After seeing some snippets of the gameplay in the trailer, I was completely sold on this game. So, I'm currently downloading Infinity Blade and will have some better opinions on this tomorrow because it's a huge 318MB download over WiFi for $5.99.

First Impressions:

Looks great.
Load times are ok on 3G. Not near as fast as they should be for a $5 app, but faster than the mobile website.
Seems to have all the abilities that you would want from a PC browser UI built into the app in a user friendly layout.
Slidebars with information and stats are a must and great to have. No way you should try and squeeze all those stats on a small screen.

Update 1:
Screen 1 - My Team 1 - Right half of the screen is slideable to show all stats of players
Screen 2 - Players tab
Screen 3 - My Team 2 - Right half of the screen is slideable to show all stats of players
Screen 4 - League Scoreboard
Screen 5 - Overall Scoreboard / League Standings
Screen 6 - Activity Feed. Displays any updates from players on your team.

Update 2: More screenshots
Screen 7 - Schedule for previous/upcoming weeks of your opponents
Screen 8 - League Settings and Scoring for league
Screen 9 - Selector of how your team information. so you can see specific information about players to compare
Screen 10 - Message Board

Update 3: Added direct link to app store for direct download.

Update 4: Added the descriptions from Flickr to the post.

Faster Way to Follow on Twitter #TweetFollow

TweetFollow is a very simple, very fast and very effective iPhone App for doing one task that no other Twitter app does. It adds someone to my follow list quickly. I don't need to load all the updates from my following list on Edge (which is all that is available at the moment) before I add someone to my list of people to follow. TweetFollow (like Duo) is a great simple task oriented app that performs its single job quickly and effectively. All you do is launch the TweetFollow (assuming that you have setup your login account) and type in the account name for the person you wish to follow and hit the "Follow" button. That's it. So easy a cavem.... it's really easy and for people who add others to their twitter all the time this would be really handy to have.

Upsides:

- Loads in 3 seconds on iPhone 3G (might be faster on 3GS and slower on older iPhones)
- Simple interface

Downsides:

- If you hit back by accident you logout your account and have to re-enter your Twitter information (not huge but kinda annoying).
- No landscape support (since it's just for Twitter account names I don't see this as a big issue)
- A login setup would be prefered for this along with multiple account support with information saved into the app so if you have personal, work, and other accounts you can add people quickly to all of them without typing in your login information each time. (Not a normal situation but this is something that I would very much enjoy in an app)

I'm super happy with TweetFollow and frankly I hope they keep working on it and add some account changing features along with more than one button press to logout of an account. It's a great simple app that is now in my Top 10 iPhone Apps Used.
