Stanford ends UConn Women's 90 game win streak

The Stanford Women jumped out early which is always a huge help. This is always what you hear about great pitchers also, you have to get them early. With them jumping out to an early 10+ point lead they had Maya Moore, UConn's best player rattled as you can see from the video. Great gob by Stanford's team and ESPN for being there to capture it all. This is going to be a great buildup to them being in the NCAA Women's Championship Game. Could you ask for better drama?

Fantasy Impact, Greinke to Brewers

It's getting to that time in the year that the hot stove is about be turned to low and the winter meetings are a thing of years past. Deals and trades are done far less frequently unless the seeds are planted at the winter meetings. This year the winter meetings have stirred the pot on "Teh Losers" greatly. The Red Sox are setting in a much better offensive position than years previous and the Yankees and Rays have added nothing with the Rays also losing Carl Crawford to the Red Sox.

Previous 3 keepers: Jose Bautista, Kevin Youkilis and Justin Verlander

Current 3 keepers: Jose Bautista, Kevin Youkilis and Zack Greinke

Assuming that the point system doesn't change or only changes slightly, I'm going to have to really consider keeping Zach Greinke now with him moving from a team (Royals) that was 20th in runs scored to the Brewers who were 12th. Also, going to the National League as well is a big bonus as well as playing in the NL Central (all those Houston, Pittsburgh and Cubs games).

The Brewers only finished 14 games behind the NC Central winning Reds so with the addition of an ace like Greinke could be enough to push them back up to the top. With this type of trade though, if the Brewers are out of contention come July this could spark the trading of Prince Fielder, Greinke and lord knows who else.

Only 56 days until Spring Training begins with pitchers and catchers reporting.

Will the Brewers win the NL Central this year?

iEatCheap & Squarespace Hosted Relaunch

With the launching of the Squarespace site, I'm going to be combining a few things that I do separately. I've been microblogging & blogging a lot more and not finding time to record podcasts with friends. So I've brought the content from my blog and made a new category, iEatCheap

I'm a foodie, but I'm a cheap foodie. iEatCheap will be me logging information about, the cost of, and of course pictures of my food. Pictures are the hard part. It's hard keeping your hands off of the nommy goodness.

Other categories (GAMEiVORE, WhatAppIsThat, DPandB, iUnload & TheSportsDork) will continue to have content either in blog, audio or video format. It's my goal to have 1 blog posting per day currently. This could step up or down but 1 per day is currently the plan to get things moving.

Any suggestions please leave them in the comments.
