ALERT!! Everyone needs to opt-out of Verizon Wireless Privacy changes.

If you are a Verizon Wireless customer please goto this link and opt-out of the privacy information that Verizon is starting to collect on you and sell to other companies.

Here is a list of the information they are going to be collecting...

Mobile Usage Information:

Addresses of websites you visit when using our wireless service. These data strings (or URLs) may include search terms you have used
Location of your device ("Location Information")
App and device feature usage

Consumer Information:

Information about your use of Verizon products and services (such as data and calling features, device type, and amount
of use)

Demographic and interest categories provided to us by other companies, such as gender, age range, sports fan, frequent diner, or pet owner ("Demographics")

Click here to login to Verizon's site and opt-out of these intrusive and unneeded privacy changes. Or you can copy and paste this URL: https://nbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/secure/setPrivacy.action?opts=notice

NOTICE: rtme.tv is my personal URL shortner that is owned and maintained by me.

Verizon says "Under these programs, we willnot share any information that identifies you personally." twice in the email they sent to all users. This is completely innacurate. With a zipcode. date of birth and gender you can be identified, according to research, 87% of the time. These are all things that Verizon knows about you and will be more than happy to sell to someone if you don't opt-out.
